Max. Files Displayed on Remote Directory

Is there a limit to the number of files that FileZilla will display in one directory of the remote server?

The reason that I ask is that I have a genealogy program that creates up to 30,000 very small files in one folder. Filezilla will display all of these on the "Local Site Directory" but chokes and stops at 10,000 on the "Remote Server Directory".

I'm suspecting that it may be a limit on the remote directory. Using the website's cPanel, I can see all 30,000 files in that folder but using FileZilla, it stops at 10,000.

FileZilla can display millions of files just fine. It's a limitation on the poorly configured server you are using. Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance.
