Very new to FileZilla here.
I was transferring a file from my desktop to my seedbox via FileZilla SFTP.
I noticed that there was a disconnect and a reconnect during the file transfer. This had me somewhat concerned. The file did eventually transfer.
Will this impact file integrity at all or is the disconnect/reconnect reliable? I assume when disconnecting/reconnecting FileZilla continues the transfer from where you last left off - acting almost as a "pause", and file
integrity should be fine.
I did check the original file size and compared it to the size of the transferred file and the bytes match, but I'm still somewhat concerned.
Does this happen often with FileZilla or do I not need to worry even if it does happen?
I tend to transfer A LOT of data (I'm a bit of a hoarder), and I typically use TeraCopy to verify MD5 hashes.
Is there a way I can verify a successful transfer via FileZilla, or would I need to create my own Windows file hash and somehow compare it to the transferred file sitting on my seedbox?
Thanks for reading.

Re: File transfer disconnect/reconnect question.
As long as you're using an integrity protected protocol, which SFTP is, disconnects don't damage files.
Re: File transfer disconnect/reconnect question.
FTP over TLS is also integrity-protected at the packet-level. Plain FTP is NOT!
FileZilla Pro supports even more secure protocols.
