Is there anything I can do to increase my desktop transfer speeds to my seedbox? My seedbox is a 20 Gbps connect and my home connect is 300/300+ Mbps, so I have to say, I'm a bit confused about the slow speeds. Having said that, geographically, I'm far away from my seedbox data center, so that may play a substantial role. Downloading from my seedbox via HTTPS using an IDM, I get great speeds, but transferring to my seedbox is different because it doesn't break up/reconstruct the file like an IDM.
From testing/transferring a single 10 GB file:
.......................................................
700-850 KiB over VPN + SFTP
750-870 KiB over STFP
580-600 KiB over VPN + FTP
544 KiB over seedbox VPN + SFTP
Initially, when I first started using the seedbox, I was getting an average of 1.2 MB/s, still not great, but better than what I'm getting now. I was using: my VPN + SFTP. Yep, I get that It's redundant. But even FTP + VPN isn't any better, It's actually somehow slower. Worth noting - I hardly lose any speed with my VPN connected. It's very negligible.
Increasing FileZilla transfer speeds?

Sounds like the server is using a too small TCP window size scaling factor in its initial SYN/ACK packet. Try configuring the server to use larger windows.
