Feature request - favorite connection after Filezilla start - or favorite button

#1 Post by charvi » 2018-11-15 23:09

Hi to all,

I am newbie here, but have been using Filezilla for some time already.

I wish there would be some nice fuction, which would speed up my connection to my server a bit.

It would be great if I could set default connection when filezilla start (or maybe even more connections)

Or at least, there could be kind of "heart" button in toolbar which would refer to action user can set (for example - connect to selected server....)

I wish nothing more for Christmas from Filezilla this year :)

Regards
Jakub

Two possibilities:

1. In the settings (Interface), check the "Restore tabs and reconnect" radio button. It will then re-open all the same servers that were open when you closed it. Note: Don't disconnect from any server, just close FileZilla, then it will re-open all.

2. Use the command line arguments. The -c / --site argument will auto-open a specific entry from the Site Manager. Simply specifying an FTP URL on the command line (or in a Shortcut) always connects to that server.
