php.ini over 121 files

I got WordFence installed and the first scan found 121 php.ini files and the Plugin told me I was possibly hacked and to call them and get my site fixed. This seemed like a program to try to scare you into purchasing services from them. I looked at some of the files and they looked innocent to me but I do not know absolutely. The only main program I have used recently besides WordPress is yours, does your software create php.ini files on a site for any reason? Is WordFence a good program and does anyone know if I should be concerned or just go delete all these files? This is a brand new site, I am the only one that has access and it is nothing important so I could delete the contents and start over. Suggestions would be helpful.

Negative, FileZilla doesn't create any files by itself. Neither does it transfer files by itself. It cannot even be used by others to automatically transfer anything.

I don't know the other program, but it sounds like snake oil trying to spread FUD. And, it's off topic.

Thanks, I thought it was snake oil too. I am contacting my web host provider as well.

How do you close a case on this site?

We can close the topic on your request. As it is a forum, there are no cases.
