How to disable Drag N Drop on server side panel (Ubuntu GNOME)?

#1 Post by mature » 2019-02-23 13:48

Hello!
Ubuntu 18.04.2
GNOME 3.28.2
FileZilla 3.40.0

I can connect to my servers using only "SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol". In this case any inaccurate mouse drag can lead to disastrous consequences. On my memory it was example, when was dragged and moved full www site directory and destination place was found not so fast in server dirs hierarchy..

It most important for me now: How to disable Drag-n-Drop for server side FileZilla window\panel only?

PS I already trying some solution like find filezilla.xml file and "Drag and Drop ..." sub-item in <setting> group but it is not included in my case in "~/.config/filezilla/filezilla.xml". Then I try add it manually to this filezilla.xml like:

Code: Select all

<Setting name="Drag and Drop disabled">1</Setting>
After that run FileZilla app and Drag-n-Drop was disabled for whole app interface! Its more useful but not perfect in case when I need drag something locally.

It can't be disabled on a per-control basis.
