Filezilla does not recognize updated and saved files from Note Tab Light

Hello,
I have successfully downloaded files from Filezilla to Note Tab Light, updated them and then uploaded back to my webpage in the past.
In the last week, I have not been able to do so. Filezilla does not recognize that they have been updated, and still includes the old timestamp.
Today, I updated Filezilla, and was able to transfer one small file, and then it started the same thing- not updating. The files are going to the same directory they always have, and when click on preview they show up as updated in my browser, it is just Filezilla that does not recognize the updates.
Can anyone help with this? I have looked all over for answers, but have not found anything.
