pua.osx.installcore malware

#1 Post by HueDan2019 » 2019-09-06 19:26

I have a problem with version 3.44.2.1 (MAC). I am getting a threat pua.osx.installcore.

If I quarantine, FileZilla won't work.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, false positives are a frequent problem with overzealous antimalware programs. The id string starts with pua (possibly unwanted application), means it is not a virus or malware, but the AV picks up the third-party offers in the offer-anabled package.

Try the app bundle from https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1.
