Hi, I'm french
I downloaded version 3.46.0 this morning and since I can't minimize the window as in the previous one.
It's very troublesome because I used to open 3 windows simultaneously.
regards.

Minimization behavior has not changed. Problem must be elsewhere.

Perhaps but all my others windows can normally minimize, firefox, chrome, filer, only filezilla can't minimize in width direction. Height works correctly.
When the dowload finished filezilla réopen with this new minimum width.
The attachment shows minimun windows width for firefox and filezilla.

The minimize button is the third-one from the right in the titlebar. Click it.

Yes, I know, but it's not the problem, I cant reduce the width of the filezilla window more that as you see in the attachment. Perhaps minimize was not right to describe my problem.

The minimum size change is intentional. Even at the width you have in the screenshot FZ is completely unusable. It is simply not meant to be used that way.

Given that everyone has at least a full-HD screen these days, even at the new minimum width you can still fit 3.5 instances next to each other. And then there's 4K and ultra-wide screens...

I dont agree,
I use 2 screens, the main, a wide one has notepad ++ and the application I am developing opened.
The second one ( a laptop screen) had 3 filezilla screen opened, until now , and thunderbird.
I use FZ to transfer my development to my provider and I don't want to see the server side because a bad click an my work is lost.
Now I can't hide server side.
Why not to left the user to decide the width he wants ?
It's mysterious to me !

If you are worried about accidental clicks you can just close FileZilla when it is not in use.

I disagree: I use FZ since years with a window width of about 400 or 450 pixels (min width I could set before v3.46), and it works without problem.
Now, since v3.46, min width is about 680 pixels, which eats up more screen size, without any benefits.

Anyway, why don't you leave the user choose how she/he wants to work, instead of fixing an arbitrary min width that you think is necessary to work ?

Not all screen are at high resolution, and don't forget that small device (with 10" or 12" screen) are sometime used.
And not all people works the same way, nor have the same needs.
I am also in favor to get that min window width back to what it was before 3.46, or even lower !!

(I also would welcome an option to hide left (local directory) panel, as I use windows explorer to drag and drop files).

Thanks anyway for this great FZ program, and all the work your are putting in it.
