I installed latest update as above and now can't connect to the server receiving following message;
"Status: Connecting to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Initializing TLS...
Error: A certificate in the chain was signed using an insecure algorithm
Error: Received certificate chain could not be verified. Verification status is 2.
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted".
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

I have limited IT skills - what does all that mean and how do I fix it please?

You need to contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance so that the server's certificate can be replaced with a proper one.
