checksums for binary downloads

I can't find checksums posted anywhere to confirm the validity of binary downloads. Are they posted? (After Handbrake was hijacked some years ago, I actually wrote a quick AppleScript droplet to confirm posted hashes after downloading binary installers.)
If not posted, I'd like to request that checksums be posted with the download links for easy confirmation. Possible? Thanks!

Since you're mentioning Apple, you can check the signature and the notarization status of the Mac binaries.

Hi, Tim. Not sure what you mean. It's not possible to verify a file checksum without having the reference (expected) checksum posted by the developer.

SHA512 checksums are provided for all downloads on the advanced download page. The sponsored/offer-bundled packages on the easy download page do not have checksums as they may vary.

Ahh, they're hiding under the "i" icon, I now see. Click that and up pops file size and checksum. Great, thanks. Didn't expect them to be hidden.

At the bottom, you can download a file containing all packages' checksums.
