I'm transferring a very large amount of information, a couple tb worth. I had turned my computer off by mistake in the middle of the transfer. If I just select all the info and try and transfer it all again into the same directory, will it just fill in the gaps? or will it make copies of everything?

You will be prompted what to do. Best option would be to to select resume in case there are partial files already on the server.
