When using a browser can't connect to server.

Hi,
When I use my FileZilla client to log in to the server, I can log in just fine with no problem. But, whenever I use my browser and type in from the URL, I can never log in to the server. I can just see in my log files some commands like, SYST, FEAT, 211 features,MDTM, REST STREAM, SIZE and so on and on without ever getting in to the server. :o
Did I miss something to setup in my server? If I do, can someone guide me? Thanks.

Web browsers have utterly abysmal FTP support. These web-hipsters lack the technical expertise to implement a good old protocol. Just use a proper FTP client, problem solved.

Hi botg,
Ok, thank you so much for the reply. I was just wondering how come I can't use a regular internet browser, while I see this website using using/accessing FTP through a browser. Thanks again botg!

Many websites use HTTP wrappers to access FTP servers. Technically, that's HTTP being used in the browser.

Browsers don't support FTP over TLS. Plain unencrypted FTP only. And even that support is going away, FTP support will soon be removed from all major browsers.
