Filezilla showing wrong file dates

#1 Post by newbie_w_freckles » 2020-06-11 12:38

Filezilla is showing incorrect file dates.
If you look at the attached image, you can see that the file dates are showing 20200605, yet the last modified is showing 06/09/2020.

So it is showing a file date previous to last modified.

When I look on the actual website, the dates are correct.

Any idea why this just started happening?

TIA :D

Please elaborate. The "Last modified" timestamps are acquired directly from the server. If the server supports MFMT and you have the option to keep timestamps (in menu Transfer) checked, the server timestamps should reflect the local ones (correct server configuration provided). In any other case, the files will get timestamps from the time of upload.

The other "timestamps" you see in the picture aren't timestamps, they are just a date string added to the filename. The true local file timestamps are independent and can be different.
