Whenever I try to upload a new html document as my home page I end up getting a "Page not found" error when I check the site. In order to test the problem I made an exact copy of the original "welcome.html" that was there and renamed it. I saved the new document as a .html file, but when I uploaded it I still received "page not found" error. When I uploaded the original welcome.html it worked and I am able to edit that file just fine. To my knowledge the two files were identical except for their names. Anyone have an idea what's going wrong?
Also, I am using notepad to save the file and I have tried saving it under different encodings as well.
