GUI improvement on the cards?

#1 Post by fourte3n » 2004-11-01 03:14

I am building my XPCD and decided to go with filezilla rather than the pay-for flashfxp.

so far I am used to fxp more but I only use ftp for webpage and xbox connection so i'm sure i will adjust perfectly fine.

but... I was wondering if a gui update would be on the cards? as atm it is a little "windows 3.1"

The GUI is anything but Windows 3.1

It's a standard Win32 GUI aimed for functionality and efficiency. It looks like the rest of your system regarding colours and fonts and even useless XP themes.

well ok not 3.1 I actually meant 98 (im an idiot) but the menu is nothing like file explorer and that is what i think of when i think of standard XP look.

I thought the program would be like other famous zillas (mozilla) but I always ask this question to GREAT programs that have boring gui's. So many programs that have a great gui standout as 'better' programs when quite often they arn't.

It wont stop me using your program though. :)
