Move Remote Folders Without Dragging

#1 Post by Peakoverload » 2021-07-15 11:16

Where I work we have blind members of staff and they use screen readers and keyboard shortcuts to operate programs and they are able to use most of FileZilla.

There is however one thing they cannot do. We use our FTP server to share information on jobs and each job has its own folder. When the job is complete we need people to move it into a Completed Jobs folder on the FTP server. The only way we can find to do this is by dragging and dropping with the mouse in the remote view but this isn't accessible. Is there a clever way that we haven't found where you can do this via the keyboard instead via a Move command or something?

You can use rename to move files and directories by entering the target path as well as the filename.

Select file, press F2 and enter ../just/an/example/filename.txt
