It's some time since I used FileZilla, so this is really a newbie question.
I'm trying to transfer some scripts (all ASCII characters) from a Windows machine to a UNIX server using SFTP. I've set FileZilla to use ASCII as default. But when I transfer then the line endings are still CRLF, which confuses the UNIX box. A kind soul on the server support end has stripped off the CRs for me, but I can't keep asking him to do this every time while I'm debugging a script. Any ideas what's going on? I'm sure it used to work OK last time I changed the scripts (some years ago).
Using FileZilla 3.55.1, Windows 10 home on the client.

Re: ASCII mode transfer not converting line endings
Just found a thread in 'Client support' which says it's not possible.
Probably goodbye FileZilla.
