Long time user of FileZilla but I have had troubles with the latest v3.56.2 32bit installer.



Then after I run FileZilla it leaves a stub running even when I have closed it.

This is consistent behaviour.

I think I found the reason.

Using Process Explorer, found libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll was being used by;

"C:\Program Files\Dell Wireless\Bluetooth Suite\BtvStack.exe"

Once I killed the process I was able to install FileZilla with no sequalae and no filezilla.exe stub is left running after I ran and closed FileZilla.

Why would that Bluetooth tool load a DLL from FileZilla's installation directory? There is likely a vulnerability in that tool due to an unrestricted library search path, you need to report this issue to Dell.
