Hi there, as dropbox is dropping support, and one drive dropping support a while ago, how much longer would filezilla support high sierra? cheers

That totally depends on the amount of changes Apple makes to Xcode.

thanks for the reply, i wasnt sure if it was apple stopping certain security things? or like you say Xcode. Im just looking round to find alternatives to logging into my onedrive/dropbox etc. I installed cyberduck on the mac the other day to trial that, before i needed to ftp in on another mac (running monterey), and forgot filezilla could log in etc till i saw it on the website.

big question is to get rid of OSX of the imac, and install windows 10 to carry on for another 3 years? or just make it a play toy for linux or freebsd?

If the hardware is that old, best to replace it outright. Alternatively, go Linux.
