Disable Auto Update

I'm adding yet another thread requesting that the Auto Update feature be configurable.

We require change control tracking, and we do drift control. Programs that auto-update do not fit into this scheme.

I know that FileZilla's programmers are hard headed, and completely blind to the obvious, and have a know-it-all attitude and think that they know what is best for the end user. Still, I'm going to add this to pile on to the countless requests for control of the Auto update feature.

And no, I'm not going to "just update." Your answer is stupid.

Even if you disable checking for updates, you have ample time to manually update once in a while before the gentle reminder that you are using outdated software. Long story short: Just update, how hard can it be? Even if you frequently change your control tracking and drift your control, whatever that means.
