Why am I getting an update prompt for a release candidate version?

I've never seen an update prompt for an "rc" version... why now?

Check if your update page ion the settings says "Stable versions only".

Edit: Getting it, too. The version might be incorrectly labeled as "Stable". That's not too bad, release candidates are designated to become Stable in most cases, anyway.

My update setting is already "Stable version only".

The update prompt for the rc1 pops up every time I open the app, so I guess I'll just have to wait for it to not be considered a stable update...

Update bugs are the worst kind of bugs in FileZilla.

Most peculiar. It seems a recent system upgrade caused one of the release scripts to no longer recognize the release-candidate flag.

(Note to self: In the future, avoid non-compiled languages for scripting)
