Access Denied- but I am positive my password is correct

I am trying to connect to my server a new computer and I have triple-checked all details but for some reason I can't connect on this computer. On my old computer all the details are the same and it works.
Here I get
Error: Connection attempt interrupted by user
Status: Disconnected from server

Status: Access denied

If it works on one computer and not the next, then either the login credentials used are different, or the server is disallowing the IP of one of the machines.

First time hearing this kind of problem. I would assume they have to have different inputs otherwise they couldn't give different results
