Using FileZilla SSL for IIS
I have had FileZilla using TLS with an SSL for quite some time and used FileZilla/OpenSSL to create the appropriate files - all works great. I'd like to use this same SSL on the same server for IIS...I've got the certificate and the original CSR, but I can't figure out a way to get IIS to accept the SSL. I tried using certutil -repairstore but it just comes up as "cannot find the certificate and private key for decryption". Any ideas?
Re: Using FileZilla SSL for IIS
Please note that SSL is a very antique and depcreated version of what is now known as TLS. One should not ever use the name SSL anymore. Using the term SSL marks you as clueless marketing drone, or (heaven forbid) their victims.
The most common use of TLS is with a X.509 certificate, with the server possessing a corresponding private key.
Note that we cannot assist you with configuring IIS. For assistance with IIS you need to contact Microsoft.
