Subdirectories disappearing (but still being accessed)

Hello,

I have just launched a handcrafted website through FileZilla and example.com.

After transferring files, I changed the permissions on a subdirectory (/images) to 644. Once done the permission changed, the folder disappeared from my remote site tab. I tried going via console and checking the files from there, but the subdirectory was still not visible. Despite this issue, the website is still correctly pulling images from the folder!

In addition, I cannot create a new folder with the same. When I tried making a new folder (/images-temp) to work around the problem and changed permissions to 644, it also disappeared.

Any ideas how I can find or access these sub-directories and/or files?

That terrible behavior is specific to the used FTP server, which clearly isn't FileZilla Server (it doesn't behave terribly). Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for further assistance to have the server fixed.
