NO Credentials

#1 Post by pastor » 2023-11-18 16:53

I am trying to configure XAMPP with FileZilla FTP Client but I cannot connect, for XAMPP did NOT provide me with any Host, Username, Password, and Port. Where do I find that information? I tried getting help but I am having no luck connecting. My device is macOS Sonoma 14.1:

Status: Resolving address of localhost
Status: Connecting to [::1]:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Command: USER newuser
Response: 331 Password required for newuser
Command: PASS ************
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

The only things I know is that XAMPP has given me no credentials: Host, Username, Password, Port.

XAMPP is foreign software. And it uses a very old, insecure, third-party redistribution of the beta FileZilla Server. In compliance with the license FileZilla Server is distributed under, XAMPP themselves must provide full support for their product, including the embedded FileZilla Server component.

In short, you're wrong here, as XAMPP must provide full support for their stuff, not us.
No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!
