We are trying to pull files down to the client via Filezilla's SFTP client and we are having a problem. The server is OpenSSH 3.7.1p2. When doing view/edit or download all return the following output:
Status: Starting download of /home/username/test.ksh
Command: GET test.ksh C:\Documents and Settings\username.domain\Desktop\test.ksh FALSE
Response: /home/usernametest.ksh: no such file or directory
Error: Download failed
It looks like the response is missing a / between the directory and the filename. Is this a known issue? FYI...I tried to do the same transfer with the PuTTy client directly with the same results. I have been successful with the ssh.com client and OpenSSH commandline client from UNIX.
I will try to post this on the PuTTy list as well, but has anyone here seen this before?
By the way, Filezilla blows the doors off the other Free/Commercial GUI FTP clients out there.
Thanks,

Nope. I tried it with psftp client and some problem exactly. As such, I think ultimately it is a PuTTy problem. I have not made it over to their site yet to see if they have any fixes.
Cheers,

I did debug this a while ago, and it seemed like it is a problem with the SSH server itself.
Your SSH server, does it use a chroot patch? IIrc this does only happen on OpenSSH 3.7.1p2 with applied chroot patch, in the rare cases where I actually got a response to this question.

I am able to browse up and out of my assigned directory and around the filessytem in general. Additionally, I contacted the admin and he confirmed that no chroot is being run.
Thanks,

Botg,
Do you have any other ideas for me?
Thanks,
