What's wrong with FileZilla version 2.2.28?

#1 Post by markwolk » 2008-06-28 22:22

I am using FileZilla version 2.2.28 with no problems at all. Why should I upgrade to the new FileZilla Client 3.0.11? Is there a security issue with 2.2.28?

I am asking because transferring all logins to the new version is quite a lot of work.

It's outdated. Very much so.

You can migrate them. Be sure to export them from within the site manager.

Thanks. Indeed, it worked seemlessly; only the advanced settings had to be redone manually. I think an earlier version of the new client did not have that migration facility, and I remembered that last time I had done the upgrade, I had to re-enter all the logins one by one - not so anymore. :D
