feature request - dos2unix and unix2dos

I use FileZilla daily to 'explore' the solaris server and transfer text files to my windows box where i normally work, and back to the server. I find that the text files have ^M at the end of the lines and I run a program dos2unix on the Solaris box to remove them.

Could this be a configurable feature of FileZilla to remove these?

i don't think i would like this, it is outside the scope of an ftp client

transferring these files in "ascii" mode instead of "binary" mode should already handle this.
