When I attempt to login as "anonymous" at the site supportfiles.sun.com, I send my actual email address as the password, but the response from the site says that "anon@localhost is not an acceptable response". Apparently, Filezilla client is ignoring the password supplied because the username is anonymous, and is supplying its own default password. Is there a setting to tell Filezilla to just use the given password and not this other one?
And yes, the site does have guest login enabled. I can login with username anonymous and my email address as the password if I am using the ftp command line from a Unix box.
