Transferring Images to new Website Host

#1 Post by danfitch » 2021-08-31 19:06

Hello, I am new to FTPs and was hoping I could get some help. I have FIlezilla downloaded and connected to my current website. I am trying to transfer my product images from my one website to the new website host. Now I am able to export product images into a csv with a link to the image that links to the current site. I am wondering what the process is to then pull those links in that csv file to get them imported into the new website host.

You cannot directly transfer between servers with FileZilla. You need to download to your local storage first, then re-upload to the new server. The local data can be considered a backup.

FileZilla cannot process comma separated value (CSV) link lists, unfortunately.
