How to find the url of an upload

#1 Post by weedwackr » 2010-02-14 05:26

I have always had problems figuring out exactly what the url of an uploaded file will be. Now for some reason I find it impossible. Is there a way in the FZ interface to select an uploaded file and display EXACTLY what its URL is?

Thanks
Scott

Right click the remote file and select "Copy URL to clipboard", then paste somewhere else, voilà. Of course this is only getting you the FTP URL of the file.

Thank you, but that is not among the choices on the drop down when I right click. Perhaps this is too old a version?

OK so I updated my version and I can now get the ftp URL. Unfortunately that does not help me as it appears that it has little or no relationship to the actual URL, which is the only thing I really need.

This is the exact reasion for not supporting HTML URLs. Because FileZilla doesn't know 'em either.
