How to get an excel sheet online?

Hello people,

I made an excel database witch I want to publish.

The thing is that I made a validation in it witch affects other cells by formula's.

The point of the validation is that the user can chose one out of 4 options from the validation list, and then imformation about the chosen option comes in a table next to the validation cell.

The problem with uploading the sheet is when I save the sheet as a webpage and then upload it by ftp, it shows the sheet pretty nice, but the validation doesnt work. You can't chose an other option.

I hope you understand my problem, and I hope even more one of you got the solution for it. I know pretty much from excel, but very few about uploading files..
