Need advice on adding a folder to my site - NEWBIE

Hi

I have had a look and cant see anything about this being posted already.

As a complete novice, i need to add a public html file to my site so i can add a sitemap.

Am i right to open the site manager and then use that ? if so i ve tried that but then how do i get it onto my website, which is joomla. I am on firefox and using windows vista.

Any help is much appreciated.

You cannot create webpages with FileZilla, only transfer files. You must use other software.

told you i was a novice!!

thanks for the advice, so i f i create a folder then i can upload it by filezilla, is that right?
