Files uploaded on Filezilla but nothing shows on my website

Hello there

I have searched everywhere for answers,i read few posts incl. http://forum.filezilla-project.org/view ... ot+showing

I still don't know what to do!
I created a website with Iweb and published it to a folder. It's this folder I have uploaded (not on the Mac computer-too old for Filezilla-but on my Pc running Ubuntu) via Filezilla onto "httpdocs" (that's where my web host told me to put the files)

Uploading works great, no problem, but nothing appears on my website (brand new, so I can't even see "old" pages)

I have replaced the index.html that was on "httpdocs" by the new one from the Iweb folder.

Any idea?

It sounds like you did upload the directory itself. You must upload the contents only, means that index.html must be directly under httpdocs.
