How do i fix this???

#1 Post by coffeeholic » 2010-04-16 09:31

I'm a newbie and my html knowledge is limited. I tried creating my website using x10hosting.com and filezilla to upload. My template is not being included even if i include the html tag in the source code!! Earlier I thought it was formatting error and hence changed transfer type to binary but still not working! have been doing this for hours! any help would be appreciated!

I dont think it's a filezilla related problem.

Did you uploaded your CSS files and images?

To me you are transferring the files to the wrong directory, just check with your hosting. this is the easy way

Are you linking to an outside template? That probably won't work with your host. You need to upload all of the template to the main HTML directory.

I agree you sent it to the wrong directory. I would also check with your hosting company to help you out.

Sounds something simple like uploading to the correct file, or forgetting your CSS as memtioned above. It is always something little with websites, but you learn from these mistakes and never make them again.
