html Page Altered After Upload

Hello Everyone:

I am new at this, but I am learning. I am building a web site from NicheProfitClassroom.com using Niche Profit Press, which is built upon Word Press. They provide the basic html homepage. All I have to do is download it with FileZilla, load it into Kompozer, make the changes, save it, reload it to the server, update it in Word Press, then view it. The problem is, every time I do this, the blue outer background bleeds over the white center background so that the entire page is blue. I don't know if this is happening in FileZilla during the upload or in Komopzer. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have hit a wall. This is what it looks like. Thanks.
