Finding correct files to edit

#1 Post by softshel » 2010-05-01 10:20

If I use Filezilla to download files from my server what procedure do I use to find the correct file

Example - If I go to my website page and View Source I can see the HTML source code

I want to edit this but first I have to download the file from my server by using FTP through Filezilla

In Filezilla I can see the various directories/folders but what do I use to find/identify the correct file that corresponds to the specific HTML source code?

The HTML filename should be in the browser's address bar. If no filename is displayed, try index.html, index.htm, default.html, ...
