Hi - I'm maintaining an older website that was built with Microsoft FrontPage. To make updates now, I use Microsoft Word to edit each HTML doc. Archaic, I know, but currently my only choice.
My question is: I can add a picture (jpg) to the html doc using the Word editor, then copy the html doc and the new photo to the FTP server, but the picture will not display. It does display when viewing the html doc on my desktop, but not on the FTP server. What do I need to do to see the new picture on the website?
Thanks.
Chuck

Re: Adding pictures to html doc with Microsoft Word
1. Check how the picture is linked to in the HTML. It must be linked using a relative path.
2. Check if you used the exact case in the image filename. While Windows OS doesn't care about case, the server's OS is UNIX/Linux where pic.png and Pic.png are two different files.
