lost an index.html file

Happy New year everyone! Welcome to 2012...


I uploaded a website via Auto X affiliates. The problem is, I cannot locate the originating index.html file. I set the website up with a domain name 'example.com' and want to change the domain.

What do I need to do to make this website go away!

I use Firefox...went to tools, and opened up the page source...I found this: home/ranefox/public_html/index.php

Does that help any?
