Might have deleted something wrong

#1 Post by inspireddev » 2012-11-22 08:54

So i followed this youtube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNMDw25Y ... el&list=UL until 4:44. The host didn't connect with my domain so i put in my server ip for the host and it started to work. On the remote site side, i clicked on public_html and there was no server with my domain's name on it like in the video so i attempted to add one in by just creating one in my wordpress folder, transferring it to the remote site, and then putting all the wordpress files in it thinking it would work. I checked my domain and nothing. So i went back and deleted that folder with everything in it and then went to my hostgatorCP and did the quickinstall for wordpress. Thinking it was set up i went to my domain again and nothing. Now i'm not sure as to what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think that's a question you must direct at your hosting provider and/or WordPress support.

I was having exactly the same problem with HostGator, I gave them a call and they sorted it all out for me :)
If anyone else is having the same issue try calling HostGator! :)
