Hello. I'm taking a computer graphic class and my assignment is to create multiple index files and upload it to a web hosting account. Well, I have a bit of a problem. Can't figure out why uploading 2 index file on ftp is impossible. I know one become the default index page but how can I upload the other? I've tried changing the name of the file but still leaving the extension html but I ended with error message. Please help!

THanks!!!

You can have as much index documents as you want, however, only one default index document is allowed to reside in each directory. So either you need to have each index.html in a separate directory or they must all have different names. To access them all, some kind of ''portal page'' is requires. Of course, using the complete URL including filename always works.

What error exactly? Rename the files before you upload them.
