Hi, I'm following these instructions: http://support.smartyhost.com.au/articl ... wordpress/
I'm at Number 7 and there is no www in the remote site directory.

(yes i am completely new to all this stuff and finding my way so bare with me)

I'm with smartyhost.
my current website is through wix.com and i want to create a new one downloading a theme i have for wordpress.
I have a mac laptop (does this change things?)
I have followed the instructions as the link above states including the ftp settings.
filezilla has connected to the server correctly too.
now I'm lost, there is no www so if i drag everything over it just errors one after the other after another...
it won't let me add a directory regardless what i call it and just says 550 permission denied.... help!

i might need some simple help here PLEASE.

if there is anything i haven't explained that you need to know in order to help please let me know.

The www folder is in the public folder.
Do you have that or could you post a screenshot of it here?

Hey you ! why you don't install in your local. After that, backup code and database to the host.
