"Succesfully" transferred theme not showing on WP Themes

Hi There,

I apologise in advance if there is already a listed answer to this question, but I couldnnt find it. Ive purchased and been unable to download a "mayashop" theme from themeforest via my WP Dashboard. Ive since followed various instructions for doing this via Filezilla, and have managed to transfer the zipped file over into the themes folder. However nothing is showing up in wordpress now.

Im aware that it may be due to the file size, and Ive really struggeled and failed (so far)with trying to increase the max download size, but I figured that if it were too big- it the Filezilla transfer would not have been succesful

Is it because the folder is zipped, and if so, is there a way to unzip the folder that im missing?

Its beyond frustraiting as ive been trying to figure it out all weekend, so any advice would be GREATLY appreciated x

I tried to find the mayashop in wordpress, but unfortunately it is not there

Try to unzip the theme on your computer and then upload it to:
/wp-content/themes/mayashop/

Could you take a screenshot of your theme folder?

how did You upload theme through wordpress admin office or through ftp software ??
Maybe your theme is for old version of wordpress.
