Error messages - unexpected end-of-file, Error 11, server sent idle message

Hi folks,

I am new to the ftp world, and really don't understand what I am seeing. I was uploading fine in December, but since February I keep receiving messages from the server when I upload files.

After 3 minutes, I get a message that says "Received Unexpected end-of-file from SFTP Server", then it says "Servers sends idle connection".

Other times I get "Server sent disconnect message" then another line comes up that says "Error Type 11 (by application)".

Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? This problem is intermittent... meaning that at times I get a good connection and the file transfers just fine. Other times I have keep aborting the transfer and starting over again.

The IT Dept I work with thinks it's the software or my files are corrupt... but why would it work sometime and not others?

Do you have the 'keep connection alive' option checked?
Some servers close connections after a given time.

Re. corrupt files - I would suggest your IT department are guessing rather than simply admitting that they do not know.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do I check the option "Keep connection alive"? where is that? I can't see it

Thank you... I checked this box, but it has not helped... still getting "Idle connection" and Error "Type 11"

Does anyone know what error "Type 11" means?
