I'm having trouble with my holding page.
I added a new index.htm file in the public _html folder
The code is:

<head>
<title>Holding page</title>
</head>
<body>
<img src=Holding page.jpg alt="holding image">
</body>
</html>
and i added the image in that same folder.
but its lot uploading it ...
The page says:
Index of /
Holding page.jpg
Index.htm
cgi-bin/
All i want is the image to be on the page - what am i doing wrong...

You must correct capitalization. While index.html is correct, Index.html is not.
In your code, set the src= argument in double quotes, as the filename contains a space.
