Please help! My website lands on index of page

#1 Post by sunshine_wordguru » 2015-08-31 14:40

My website lands on the index of page. I have tried changing the settings on my index manager on c-panel (hostgator), but when I select the "no indexing" option, then the site doesn't load at all.

My website is <a commercial website>. The contents are in a sub-folder (by accident) named "project". I would like to either move the database out of the sub-folder or direct the home page to land in the correct place.

Simply move your website files from the subdirectory to the root. In FileZilla, that is done via Drag&Drop.
