Problem with FileZilla using and old index.html file

Hi,
I've joined this forum hoping someone might be able to help me with what appears to be a quirk in FileZilla.
I keep updating my sites index.html file and all seems ok, but when I view the site, it is an old index.html file that shows.
I've tried updating many times, but it always seems to defer to this old index.html. Frustrating.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what's going on here and how I can rectify it?
