Db password in wpconfig keeps reseting to the old one

Hello
I am trying to change the db pass for the new one in wpconfig by edit the file, but this keeps reseting the wpconfig back to the old file with the old password over and over.
It stays for like couple minutes , then the db gets disconnected because wpconfig old file with old pass appears again and again removing the new file with the new pass.

Please help

What can I do?
