Filezilla, AVG and PASSIVE MODE

Filezilla, AVG and PASSIVE MODE

Hello.

using AVG, it says I need PASSIVE MODE turned off - otherwise AVG (virus scanner) is ineffective.

HOWEVER, if I do that, then FILEZILLA does not work. I connect, but the main screen where all my remote files are shown still says not connected to any server (even though it says im logged in)

If i change AVG - to Passive mode ON - then i get all my remote files on Filezilal (Though now AVG is ineffective).

has anyone got ideas to have BOTH things working at full strength?

An AV product mandating which data connection mode to use? That's a new low even for an AV product.

AV products are all snake oil, they are ineffective by design. You should get rid of that faulty AV product.
